Kamo akarshin manyur akarshin namo namaha

Again and again, one considers one's body as oneself.

Again and again, one considers one's mind as oneself.

Fear creeps into the mind, and one becomes fearful.

Unconscious impressions - Vaasanas - surface and one thinks one is a sinner.

Desires arise, and one thinks one is lecherous.

Amid all this flux of the mind; if one can see, one is not the mind, . . . that is a transcendence; and  a reality

To see all blemishes of  mind as one's own blemishes - that is agyana, ignorance, forgetfulness, virtuality.

Jyesht-abisheka

Consecrated metal alloy idols, get discharged with people's footfalls.

And they are recharged once a year, with abisheka rituals - when the 13th full moon and Earth transit the Jyeshta-Mula interface.

- as held in idol worshipping Agama traditions.

Kameshwara Mukaloka Kalpita Sri Ganeshwara

Dewi's army battled the demons.

After a while, warriors became docile, peaceful, and stopped engaging the demons.

"Whatever is the use of conflict?

Can war solve our problems?

Let's abide in peace, let's meditate," said the warriors - and left war zone.

The enemy was winning, without fighting - battleground became empty, silent.

Faced with insubordination, Dewi reflected - looked at Kameswara.

He returned her glance.

From their vision, a strange looking being became manifest.

Dewi anointed him as Ganesha- Lord of Ganas, sent him to battle.

Ganesha sensed a device, buried deep, by the enemy.

He ferreted out a Wighna Yantra, rendered it dysfunctional.

The Devas - released from the spell of peace & meditativeness -  returned to battle.

And became victorious.

Thirumoolar refers to the five sensory faculties as five milch cows - paal pashu ainthu.

And Sancara refers to them as deer, that pursue desert mirages.
